Student Resources and Links Use “DESTINY” to access the CCMS Library Catalog:
M-DCPS Library Resources Portal: http://library.dadeschools.net/index.htm Library Spot: “Clusty”, a much better search engine: Clusty is a “spider”, which is to say, a search engine which searches several other search engines. But Clusty does even more. It helps you organize your search, saves you time and effort, and lets you “zero-in” on exactly the information you need. After you enter the topic you want to search, a menu will appear on the left. Above it there are three tabs: “Clusters,” “Sources” and “Sites.” The default, “Clusters,” will organize your topics into many specific subtopics. Click on any subtopic, and a whole new list of web sites will appear on the right. Click on the “Sources” tab, and your list will be reorganized by source (search engine). Click the “Sites” tab, and your list will be resorted by domain (.com, .org, .gov, .edu, etc.) |
